Hold your cityhop card over the card reader on the front windscreen and you will see the card reader’s light turn green. Keep your card on you at all times. It is used to lock and unlock the car.
Unlock
The doors will then unlock and the indicator lights will flash. The car is ready for use.
Car keys
The car keys are attached under the steering wheel. The keys are to remain in the car at all times. Use the swipe card to lock and unlock the car during your booking.
You are liable for the cost of a new key if you remove or lose the keys from the car. Be warned! The keys are electronically chipped and cost up to $2,000 to replace.
